The Bartlett Pool is a popular swimming pool as it is located within the Jovita Idar’s El Progreso Park, or Bartlett Soccer Complex, giving visitors multiple options to have outdoor fun. The pool itself is an excellent place for kids and adults of all ages, as it features a splash pad perfect for wading, and kid-friendly water slides. The pool has its own restroom and changing facilities, plus a covered, shaded area with plenty of tables and seating. The Laredo community can also rent the facility for private events, such as birthday parties.
It’s normal hours of operation are Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., and Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m, however, guests are advised to monitor the City of Laredo Parks & Recreation social media pages to confirm operating dates/hours due to seasonal changes, as well as events.
At the entry of the Bartlett Pool, City of Laredo employees are often stationed to provide free bike rentals to park-goers.
